Energy is all around us. We use it every day to power buildings and bring our devices to life. But it also keeps people moving – it connects us. It enables us and the things that make modern life possible, to travel all over the world. Energy is also a key ingredient in the countless things we rely on every day, from the materials our cities are made from, to the clothes on our backs.

But this increasing demand is contributing to rising pressure on our climate, especially when it comes to transport.
99热这里只有精品According to a recent study by the IEA, transport accounts for nearly 30% of the world’s total energy use and around a quarter of global energy-related carbon dioxide emissions.
But while some low- and no-emissions transport options are easy to imagine, some are far less straightforward. We must find ways to produce both more and cleaner energy, and use it better.
